The selected team in see-off competition organised by Shell Pakistan on Wednesday, as part of a Shell Eco-Marathon initiative, seeking to develop energy solutions, the competition encourages students across Asia to design, build and test fuel-efficient vehicles. In Berlin last year, a vehicle travelled 3,836 kilometres on a single litre of fuel. According to Tanvir Sadiq, a mechanical engineering student at the UET, his team had been selected and they were targeting to achieve 300 km on one litre of fuel.
