In addition to the Satellite A665 which was recently released, Toshiba also rolled out the A665 3D edition notebook that delivers to users a stereoscopic 3D experience. The device comes with NVIDIA’s 3D Vision kit with active shutter 3D glasses, there is a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Core i7-740QM processor, a 640GB Hard Drive, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS350M graphics card and up to 4GB of RAM.
The new 3D-Ready Notebook also supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi Connectivity, eSATA/USB port, HDMI port, 5-in-1 card reader, webcam, harman/kardon stereo speakers and Dolby Advanced Audio and multitouch touchpad. There is also a Blu-ray Disc Rewriteable (RE) and DVD SuperMulti drive with LabelFlash offering HD Blu-ray Disc playback. It was expected to be released on June 20th for $1599.99
