Google’s Chrome team has sent out invites to a press event in San Francisco, “where we plan to share some exciting news about Chrome,” the invitation reads.

The marketing campaign of Microsoft for Windows 8 appears to have begun – the company briefly published a blog on msdn.com, and then took it down almost immediately. The blogger added that Windows 8 was “something completely different” from previous operating systems.

Microsoft has given some early tests with a near-final releasing version – “release candidate” of Office 2010 as the software maker works to make it broadly available in June 2010.

Same like you, I was also wondering, why the new windows announced by Microsoft is called so? Got the answer, and excitingly I wasn’t aware of any point before, let me count all windows from 1 to 7 here.
