Google’s Chrome team has sent out invites to a press event in San Francisco, “where we plan to share some exciting news about Chrome,” the invitation reads.

Rumours are saying that Acer are working on a new laptop that will have a frameless touchscreen and frameless touchkeyboard.

The group behind the “$100 laptop” has formed a partnership which it hopes will deliver computers to every primary school child in East Africa.
